Super cute (and calming) gummies perfect for a little treat
If you’re looking for a simple, soothing treat that supports both your gut and your nervous system, these homemade chamomile gummies are the perfect blend of comfort and function.
The base of this recipe is gelatin, a nutrient-rich protein that helps strengthen the gut lining, supports joint health, and provides the building blocks for healthy hair, skin, and nails. It gives the gummies their gentle bounce while also nourishing your body from the inside out.
Infused with calming chamomile tea, these gummies also work to quiet the nervous system, ease digestion, and prepare the body for restful sleep. Chamomile has long been used as a natural remedy for stress, anxiety, and tummy upsets-making it a beautiful partner to the gut-healing properties of gelatin.
Together, they create a delicious, kid-friendly way to enjoy the soothing benefits of herbal medicine in a snack-sized bite. 💛

Calming Chamomile Gummies
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chamomile flowers you can use chamomile tea bags
- 1 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup gelatin I like the nutra organics gelatin
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Add the chamomile flowers and boiling water to a jug and cover over with a lid or a plate to stop evaporation. It is best to let this infuse for at least two hours but if you are organised over night is great!
- Strain the chamomile and add the water to the gelatin, stirring to bloom.
- In a small sauce pan add the honey and heat on medium until it becomes thickened and foamy.
- Using an electric mixer poor the honey into the gelatin mix and beat on high.
- Beat until the mixture starts to become foamy. If you want to turn this into full marshmallows keep beating until the mixture is white and foamy. The more foamy, the less "gummy" layer there will be.
- Pour into a tray lined with baking paper and place into the fridge to set.
- Once set, remove and cut into squares.
